Have you seen the cool word cloud posters that second grade
makes? They are made using a website called
Wordle is a super cool way to work with words, the way it
works is that the more time you repeat a word the larger it will get!
It is a great way to practice all those favorite word walls
word, new vocabulary, the kids can type in their name and then type up words
that makes them unique. It is a great way for them to be introduced to the
computer concept of highlighting a word, copy that word then paste it!
When using wordle use the web browser Firefox
Wordle.net uses Java, you need to give wordle some time for
it to initialize, it also might ask you to "allow this applet to run"
you want to hit OK and allow that
Start typing and have fun!! When you use Firefox you will be
able to print out your amazing creations!!

Do you all know the short cut for copy and paste??
COPY - highlight the word, then press and hold
down the "command key" then simultaneously press the "c" key
PASTE - put the cursor where you want the word to paste
in press and hold down the "command key" then
simultaneously press the "v" key
