I often get the question on how to download a video from YouTube, there are several ways you can do it, you can install Third Party software that gets the job done, or you can do it for free from a website. Here are instructions on how to do it using the website keepvid.com!
- Go to the website called : http://keepvid.com
- Paste your youtube link in the bar, click the small grey download button on the right side of the bar,
- Warning: do not click on the big green download buttons, they will take you to advertising
- Allow the Java applet to run
- The next window will give you the options of different video format, choose "Download MP4 - 720 P", just click on that link and the download will start automatically (This will take a while if your video is long),
- WARNING, do not click on any of the large buttons that says "download', "free download", "install", "premium download" they are all advertisement and will take you away from your task
- Go to your download folder and find the video there!
